According to recently leaked information, Samsung have decided to push back the release of both the 7″ and the 10″ Galaxy Tab 2 tablets. The devices are going to be released at the end of this month instead of the end of March, as initially announced. The reason for this is the company’s plans to release the tablets with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich preinstalled – as it turns out, there is still some work to be done on the software. Recently Samsung also announced, that they’re pushing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Galaxy Note back as well. In return for the longer wait, users would be rewarded with a few additional applications. There are however good news for the fans of the Korean company – the update for Android 4.0 for the Galaxy SII is already out and is currently available for most devices worldwide. B. A.
