Motorola RAZR to get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in Q2
|
Motorola have published detailed information about their Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update schedule, according to which the new software version is going to be available for their newer devices, which have a minimum of 1GB of RAM memory. According to this timetable, the update is going to arrive for the European versions of the Motorola RAZR and the Xoom Wi-Fi first in Q2 this year, with the Motorola Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition following a bit later on – most likely in Q3.
The Atrix and the Xoom Wi-Fi + 3G are also listed to receive Ice Cream Sandwich, but Motorola have revealed no additional information about them so far. The company may also provide an update for the MOTOLUXE and Pro+, but they haven’t finalized their decision yet. The rest of Motorola’s European smartphones are not going to receive Android 4.0 update. B. A.
