As we recently found out, one of LG’s most important phones to be shown at the Mobile Congress is going to be the LG 3X with the quad-core Tegra 3 processor. The device, which is also known as P880, is going to be pretty powerful, judging by the results from its first Quadrant tests to leak online. As you can see from the images, the device has managed to score a bit over 4400 in the benchmark, which is more than twice the score of the Galaxy Nexus (2000). According to the rumors, the device is going to have a 720p display and a Tegra 3 processor, which is clocked at 1.5 gHz, when it’s just using one core or 1.4 gHz – when it’s using all 4. Some of its other specs are an 8MP camera, 16GB of built-in memory, a 2000 mAh battery and Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. It seems that the HTC Endeavor, which features the same processor, is in for some serious competition. B. A.

LG 3X tech specs:

  • 4.7″ HD screen with resolution of 720×1280 px
  • Tegra 3 Quad core processor (1.5GHz on single core, 1.4GHz when on 2-4 cores) + SMP Core (core companion) for IDLE task operations which will save battery life
  • 2000mAh battery

  • 8MP camera with ultra fast shutter
  • 1.3MP Front Facing camera
  • Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3
