Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Motorola RAZR
|
If you have a Motorola RAZR and just can’t wait for an official update to Android 4.0 (which is expected to arrive very soon), you can now have a taste of the Ice Cream Sandwich. An unofficial version of the update appeared online for the GSM version of the device and according to the reviews, even though it’s not final, the software is very stable and usable for everyday purposes.
The ROM is using the stock Android 4.0 interface, which is probably going to be replaced by Motorola in the final version of the update. Some of the new features in this ROM are the new lockscreen with the handy shortcuts and the new and improved camera application, which actually resembles Motorola’s original application quite a lot. If you want to try the update out, you can download the required file from the link below. The installation itself is very simple – it’s just a matter of putting the file on the phone’s memory and flashing it through Motorola Recovery. B. A.
