Panasonic Eluga – the official tech specs
|
Panasonic already showed us their new smartphone called Eluga, and that’s the first device that will return the Japanese company back into the European mobile and smartphones market.
However, the official tech specs of the Panasonic Eluga are no longer a secret and here is the list:
The new smartphone, which should appear on the European market in April, relies on a dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor running at 1GHz, 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage memory, but unfortunately there is no support for memory cards (what a loss for such a good looking phone).
The Panasonic Eluga is equipped with a 4.3″ OLED display with resolution of 960×540 pixels, and as we have noted, the device has a casing that is dust and water resistant (30 minutes at a depth of 1m), the Eluga’s body thickness is only 7 .8 mm at a weight of 103 grams, which is really impressive!
Among other features of the Panasonic Eluga, there is also an 8MP camera with autofocus and image stabilization, NFC capabilities, and battery with a capacity of only 1150 mAh (which cannot be replaced). The company says it can provide up to 300 hours in standby mode or 240 minutes for calls. Panasonic Eluga also uses the new microSIM cards and comes with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, but the company promises to update the device to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich sometimes in the summer.
