Kindle app for Android gets update

Amazon has released version 2.0 of the Kindle application for Android. With it, users have access to library periodicals (newspapers and magazines) on Amazon, and the ability to purchase content directly from the application. The new application has the ability to enroll in a microSD card instead of phone memory. This update brings some minor changes to the application’s functionality designed to make the interface more user-friendly. Kindle 2.0 for Android is now available for download from the Android Market.
