Learning is said to be a continuous process and the AnkiDroid application is one of the best learning tools at your disposal for free. The application is highly compatible with Anki website, which it synchronizes with. This makes it possible to easily learn from either your PC or your Android device such as a tablet running on Android 3.1 and above. What you can learn is only limited by your imagination; from learning a different language to learning of a specific subject.
The AnkiDroid Flashcards is basically a flash card application that allows you to learn and memorize facts and information relating to a subject of your interest. It is designed to help you learn through question and answer format. You receive a question that you answer before pressing a button to view the right answer. You are obligated to “tell” the application whether or not the question is hard. This makes it possible for the application to determine when to ask you the same answer again. This arrangement makes it possible for the application to dwell on your weak area of study.

We’ve seen a lot of news recently about 3d maps, especially with the announcement that Apple won’t be continuing with Google Maps. Even Google upgraded their mapping system on the Android platform. Today, we just heard that Amazon is going to be diving into the 3d mapping technology with the recent purchase of UpNext. The purchase was dealt at 2.5 million dollars and it is just enough to get Amazon deep into the mapping and geographical analysis market. There have been rumours already that Amazon might be including their new mapping engine on their new tablets, but nothing is confirmed yet.
The UpNext mapping technology has a database of fifty cities, with perfect street navigation and building representation. You can say that Amazon got a good deal, as they have a solid mapping foundation which they just need to work on, in order to improve. Apple seems like they are well underway with their new 3d maps, as they have completely cut ties with Google. The Google Maps application on the Apple devices was quite the catch, but it seems that Apple might have something a little more interactive. You can surely expect their new map to be included with Siri, for voice activated commands and search features.
