Some Galaxy phones to get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in just a couple of months
|
Samsung have (officially) announced, that the first phones from their portfolio, which are going to receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update, are going to be the most recent devices of the Galaxy family – the SII and the Note. The update should, according to Samsung, be available as early as Q1 next year.
Of course it doesn’t end there – all of Samsung’s tablets are going to receive the update as well, though users will have to wait until Q2 for the latest Android version. The Korean company has yet to announce if network branded devices are going to get the Sandwich along with their other devices, but even if they don’t, we’re sure there’ll be plenty of unofficial ports.
