Samsung to make Apple’s A6 processors after all
|
According to an anonymous employee at Samsung, the rumors about Apple transferring the manufacture of their A6 processors to TSMC are not true. The quad-core processor, which is expected to run in the iPhone 5 and iPad 3, is going to be produced by the Korean company and besides that, Apple and Samsung are going to design them together. According to information from The Korea Times despite the rumors, according to which Apple doesn’t want to work with Samsung any more, they will continue to use their services for now. The main reason for that are manufacture problems, which TSMC couldn’t take care of in time. It seems that despite all lawsuits between them, Samsung and Apple will maintain their business relationships. B. A.
