Microsoft is going to give millions to Samsung and Nokia for marketing
|
The Christmas season is almost upon us and for a lot of technological companies, that’s the most important time of year. Apple have already presented us with their Christmas device and they’ve already sold 4,000,000 in 3 days, so it’s no surprise, that Microsoft are going to help their partners to be competitive.
According to Mobile Magazine, they’re going to give a total of £20 million to the two companies for their marketing campaigns in the UK.
The Finns are going to receive the money first, which isn’t very surprising, considering the “unusual” status, they have among Microsoft’s partners. According to other sources, Nokia are going to advertise their devices mainly with the social network integration and the wide range of apps and games. Samsung on the other hand are expected to focus on the Omnia W and the multimedia features of the device. B. A.
