Huawei preparing to unveil a new smartphone and tablet at the Mobile Congress

A while back we found out, that Huawei are working on a new line of smartphones, called Diamond, to reveal at the congress. As the name suggests, the devices are going to be high-end and very powerful, which raised the question whether the top smartphone is going to use a quad-core processor or not. As we are now informed by Huawei’s CEO, the products, which are going to be unveiled at the Mobile Congress are going to be called the Ascend D1 Q (smartphone) and the MediaPad 10 (tablet). The letter D in the name of the phone suggests, that it’s going to be one of the Diamond series devices and the letter Q – that it’s going to have a quad-core processor. All we know about the tablet so far, is that it’s going to be the successor of the MediaPad 7 and is going to have a bigger – 10″, screen. B. A.
