Tizen preview on Samsung’s first prototype device

Samsung is one of the companies behind the Tizen project – a Linux-based mobile platform that continues the failed MeeGo project from Nokia and Intel. During a recent conference about Tizen, the Koreans showed a special phone designed for app developers that works with the new platform. The device has a dual-core ARM processor with an operating frequency of 1.2GHz, a screen with 720p HD resolution and common specs such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and microUSB port.

As you can see from the video, the interface is very similar to the TouchWiz, which is not surprising at all – Samsung is one of the companies behind the whole project!
