The Samsung Omnia M
|
Even though Samsung appear to be focusing mainly on their Android smartphones, the company isn’t lagging behind with their Windows Phone devices either. And as if to support this statement, Samsung are releasing the Omnia M. The device is somewhat similar to the Omnia W, but it has a different design and a larger – 4″ to be exact, screen. Among its other specifications are a 5MP camera with auto focus, a single-core processor, clocked at 1gHz, 7.2Mbps HSPA connection and the other standard features, such as WiFi, Bluetooth and so on.
Software-wise, the device is running Windows Phone 7.5 and users will have access to features, such as Family Story – a service for sharing stuff with your family members, the multiplatform communication service called ChatON, AllShare for watching clips and images from the phone on the TV and Smart DJ – an automatic playlist creator. Standard-issue Microsoft services have also not been forgotten, such as Xbox, SkyDrive and so on. The Omnia M (GT-I8350) is going to hit the European market first. B. A.
