The Sony Xperia ion
|
The Sony Xperia ion, the first Sony phone for a long time, is quite a good-looking device with its minimalistic, yet stylish design. And not only that, but it’s also a very powerful smartphone overall – it has a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260 processor, clocked at 1.5 gHz, which is coupled with an Adreno 220 GPU for truly great performance.
The smartphone also comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage – enough for most users, and a MicroSD card slot for those, who need even more space. Actually with a camera as good as the ion’s – a 12MP one with an Exmor R sensor and LED flash, you’re bound to need a lot of memory for photos. All this hardware, of course, would be no good, if there wasn’t a powerful battery, on which to rely and, thankfully, Sony have though of that – the 1900 mAh one in the ion should be more than enough for a whole day of whatever-you-want-to-do. Overall, the Xperia ion is a great device and we can’t wait for it to hit the market. Meanwhile, you can pre-order yours online. B. A.
