- iPhone 5
Some interesting information has leaked online, concerning the highly anticipated next generation of the iPhone and despite its unofficial state, we think it makes quite an interesting read. According to this rumor, Apple’s future device is going to be both thinner and larger than the latest generation of their smartphone and the company might even put a metal back, like they did on the original iPhone.

There are actually even the precise dimensions of the device included in the leaked piece of information – 125 х 58,5 х 7,4 mm, which lead us to believe the new phone is going to be 10 mm taller (because of the bigger, perhaps 4″, display) than the 4S and 2mm thinner. Not the whole back panel of the phone is going to be metal, though – only the middle part, and for the rest Apple are expected to continue using strengthened glass, such as Gorilla Glass 2. There are going to be other major design differences as well, such as a different screen ration and even a different charging slot (16-pin instead of the current 30-pin), which is most likely going to become a standard for Apple’s mobile devices.
