A special Samsung event is going to take place on the 15th of August and the Korean company has already revealed to the US press, that they’re going to reveal the next device from the Galaxy family at it. Sadly this is as detailed as the information gets, which has lead some people to believe, that they’re actually just going to show off the US version of the Galaxy Note 10.1. Still, according to others, we might just get lucky enough to see a whole new device revealed – in particular, the Galaxy Note II. Just like the name suggests, this is expected to be the successor of one of the most popular (and strangest) Samsung devices.
According to the rumors, we should be expecting a device with an even larger – 5,5″, screen, though its size is said to remain the same. Of course, it’s going to be very powerful – it will most likely feature a quad-core Exynos chip. Some older rumors have specified another date for its debut, though – according to some, we’re going to see it at the IFA 2012 convention in Berlin at the end of August. B. A.
