Here’s a very interesting and useful app for Android called mac.remote, basically it’s a remote control app to be used with your Mac computer. Mac.remote is very simple to use, good looking and highly customizable application that works great out of the box and it’s available for free from the Google Play store.

With mac.remote for Android you can control iTunes, Spotify, Rdio, QuickTime, MPlayerX, VLC, Keynote and iPhoto, or more specific you can – play, pause, current track info, previous, next, rewind, fast-forward. All media buttons in .remote work consistent with mac media keys, e.g. long click on “next” button works like “fast-forward” in iTunes.
