MobiWire will be the new name of Sagem

Sagem, a leading provider of phones and also the creator of the Puma Phone, has announced a few hours ago,that they have officially changed its name to MobiWire.

The name change is a prelude to an even more substantial change of company policy, which should now be addressed to provide services and software, as well as the canonical phones for which the company has been known. The first of these services – Surface, is a new user interface for Android, which (according to the manufacturer) can manage the multitasking and moving screens and applications in a much more efficient way.

From the images presented, the appearance of Surface is excellent. Now we just have to wait to try it at the Mobile World Congress and see if the usability will be equals.
