The Xperia Sola Is Coming Soon
|
Just a few days ago pictures of a new Sony smartphone, the so-called Pepper, appeared online, which led us to believe, that the device is going to be released soon. This has turned out to be true and the company even announced the model officially. The device, which is actually called Xperia sola, relies on the dual-core ST-Ericsson NovaThor processor, running at 1gHz, which can also be found in the Xperia P and U.
The device also has a 3.7″ 854×480 screen and a 5MP main camera, as well as NFC. One of its most interesting features is undoubtedly the ” floating touch” technology, which allows the user to navigate through web pages without having to touch the screen – just with the hovering of his finger above it. Sony have stated, that this technology is also going to be used in 3rd party apps. The Xperia sola is going to arrive soon with Android 2.3, but an update for 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is expected shortly after its release. Stay tuned for the latest mobility and gadget news!
