Android MIUI V5 custom ROM for HTC HD2 [NAND/NativeSD]

Thanks to nicedude_abad from XDA-Developers, here is the latest MIUI V5 ROM for HTC HD2. It’s based on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and provides a fresh user experience with the latest Cloud services, security and backup tools.

Note: There’s no Google Play store app inside, so you need to install it via Gapps (search for it) or download the MIUI Super Market app.

How-to install the MIUI V5 ROM:

  • Do a Task 29
  • MAGLDR
  • CWM (change flash.cfg as follows):

misc ya 1M
recovery rrecov|ro|nospr filesize recovery-raw.img
boot yboot|ro 5M
system ya 300M
cache ya 2M
userdata ya|asize|hr allsize

  • Download the ROM and install it via CWM

Here is the new FunkyROM Lite v1.0 – a custom Windows Phone 7.8 ROM for Nokia Lumia 800 (RM-801), thanks to lordmaxey @XDA-Developers. It’s based on the latest basic Nokia ROM – RM-801 1750.823.8862.13110 and features all official languages.

Here is the latest custom Android ROM for HTC HD Mini (HTC Photon), thanks to iPlasm @ XDA-Developers. This is a MIUI v4 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM and it must be installed on NAND, there’s no SD card version. It’s really fast and smooth – no lags or crashes just some known problems with fixes already available for most of them:

  • Mono audio
  • Audio via car’s Bluetooth for calling doesn’t work
  • Video Capture Recording doesn’t stop, freezing for seconds then quits unexpectedly
  • Video Player is a little bit buggy

Here is the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean custom ROM (PACman v22.3.0) for HTC Desire HD thanks to blindndumb @ XDA-Developers, it’s a combination of the three super ROM’s available – Paranoid, AOKP and CyanogenMod (built from the official sources).

Everything is working, no lags, no bugs, three types of user selected interfaces – Stock, Phablet and Tablet with different DPI settings.

How-to flash it:

  1. Make Sure You’re on the latest 4EXT Recovery
  2. Make a backup
  3. Reboot into Recovery
  4. Flash the ROM
  5. Flash Gapps
  6. Reboot and You’re done
