This ROM is for all the HTC HD2 owners who are tired of the boring CM7 or handicap GB Sense, CM9 and CM10 – you really need to try this MIUI 3.2.1 JB cooked by THANHVO31 @ XDA-Developers.

It’s based on the stock MIUI 3.2.1 from gtbluesky and you will be totally in love with the features inside:

  • Root with SuperSu V1.04
  • Play Store instead of the default MI market
  • Latest Gapps with Google Now

Make sure that you have the following configuration on your HD2:

  • Radio 2.15.50.14
  • HSPL 2.08
  • cLK 1.5RC1 or MAGLDR or NativeSD
  • ClockworkMod Recovery 5.0.2.6 or higher

The update is now available for the following handsets – Nokia Lumia 510, 610, 710, 800 and 900, it can be installed through the Zune application for PC or Windows Phone for Mac.

Among the changes of course is the new Windows Phone 8 home screen, which supports tiles in three different sizes, more color accents to customize the interface, an option to use Bing images for backgrounds on your lock screen, extended language support, the ability to send files via Bluetooth, mobile internet connection sharing, camera improvements (Camera Extras), new applications like Contact Share, Play To, Nokia City Lens and improved protection against accidental deletion of information.

Another fresh Jelly Bean ROM for HTC HD2 (13.01.2013) – JellyBelly_HD2_v1.3 cooked by Anurag pandey @ XDA-Developers.

This is the latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean (JZO54K) ROM for HTC HD2, based on CyanogenMod 10 Nightly build and it features NativeSD support, Data to External SD, Dexo-odexer, system partiton /lib based on tytung’s JB 1.3a, included supercharger tweaks and Minimal GAPPS.

The ROM is perfectly stable for daily usage and it’s one of the fastest Jelly Bean HD2 ports so far, all the unnecessary apps and files are removed 😀

Some good news and for all HTC Desire HD owners, here is the latest Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean custom ROM from synergye @ XDA-Developers! The ROM is based on the codefireX builds and everything is working – no lags and no problems at all 🙂

Some of the ROM features:

  • Based on AOSP master with regular AOSP master merges
  • Totally open source
  • Easily switch between a custom and “vanilla” experience in the settings app “on/off switch”
  • Built with a custom GCC 4.7.3 toolchain

Another pack of great news – Rebellos and AdamOutler from XDA-Developers managed two very major breakthroughs for Samsung Exynos based devices, the first one is a stable implementation of the Open Galaxy Bootloader (Uboot based) and fastboot on the Galaxy Camera.

This means that not only the users have an option to get away from Samsung’s closed bootloaders, but can now boot directly from the SD Card on the Galaxy S3 & Galaxy Camera and this means that we can fix bricked Samsung Galaxy S3 devices! This project will be also used for directly booting Ubuntu, Chrome OS, WebOS or just about anything else!

Here is the first Android 4.2.1 ROM for our beloved HTC HD2 (cooked by sportsstar89 from XDA-Developers)! The new ROM is currently in alpha version, based on the latest CyanogenMod 10.1 source and almost everything is working, but there is no WiFi and Data connection – so it’s not intended for daily usage at the moment.

To get it running on your HD2 you need to use cLK and system partition size 275 (the ROM will not work with MAGLDR), stay tuned for more stable releases and new ROMs 😀

You need to flash ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) on your Alcatel OT-908 to flash the ROM from it!
