Finally, here is the official Android 4.2.2 update for HTC One, it’s currently available only in Taiwan for the 801e (M7_U) version of the phone. The update is with number 2.24.709.1 and you need to download 465 MB of files. According to the leaked information, the update for Europe will be numbered 2.24.401.1.

The new software version features a lot of improvements, including some fixes for the overall system performance. There is an optimization for the HTC Sense interface and of course the update offers all the features that comes with Android 4.2  – widgets in the lock screen, fast access to different phone functions via drop-down menu, improved camera and more.
