Motorola’s new high-end device – the Droid RAZR (or just RAZR, if you live in Europe) has already impressed us with its thin body. Recently though, it got in the hands of iFixit, who are famous for their detailed instructions for taking devices apart and putting them back together.

It turns out disassembling the device isn’t easy, as the Kevlar back is tightly fixed to the back of the device. Still iFixit’s team managed to take it off and under it they found the 1.2 gHz OMAP processor, the 1GB Samsung LPDDR2 RAM and the most impressive component (surprisingly) – the battery. At 1,750 mAh it doesn’t have an incredible capacity, but it’s ultrathin – just 2.8 mm. You can find pictures of it at iFixit

The new iPhone 4S isn’t even out in stores yet, but that hasn’t stopped some lucky guys who got their devices early from tearing it apart, iFixit performed its customary teardown after getting an iPhone 4S.
Apple iPhone 4S has the same A5 dual-core processor already used in the iPad 2. The processor is running at 1GHz, denying the rumors that they just downclock it to 800MHz. However, iPhone 4S showed incredible speed and response compared to some of its competitors. There is a little surprise at the RAM specifications: iPhone 4S only has a 512MB of RAM (in a phase of a market where competitors are aiming to smartphones with 1GB RAM).

The latest smartphone from Apple’s fifth generation is called iPhone 4S and will make its world premiere in the U.S., UK, Germany, France and Japan on 14 October. iPhone 4S is powered by the new A5 dual-core processor and iOS5.
Design:
iPhone 4S looks exactly like its predecessor (iPhone 4) and is even made of the same materials – aluminum and tempered glass.
CPU and graphics:
iPhone 4S dual-core processor is the same A5 chip that’s running on the iPad 2, which includes and a dual-core graphics – that will allow much faster and detailed 3D. According to Apple, this hardware combination makes the new iPhone 4S seven times faster than the iPhone 4 when it comes to games, but twice as fast when it comes to the performance of normal tasks.
