AT&T Offering the Nokia Lumia 900 for $100 From 08.04
|
All news about the American network operators are usually irrelevant for most of the people outside the US, but there’s always room for exceptions. Especially when we’re talking about the new flagship phone in AT&T’s portfolio – the Nokia Lumia 900 with LTE capabilities. So far, there was no information about the release date and the starting price of the device, but both factors have been announced – the Nokia Lumia 900 is going to be released in the AT&T network on 08.04 for $100 with a 2-year contract with pre-orders beginning one week earlier.
Such a price is actually very low for a high-end smartphone with LTE capabilities, not to mention, that this is one of the best Windows Phone devices out there, so it’s going to be very interesting to see how it’s going to affect the platform’s market share and Nokia’s presence in the US. At the same time, HTC are going to release their Windows Phone flagship – the HTC Titan II, which also has LTE capabilities and even a 16MP camera, but costs twice as much – $200. B. A.
