|
After it became clear, that the next update of Windows Phone – Tango, is going to enable manufacturers to release smartphones with lesser technical capabilities, Microsoft have also developed an update for the Software Development Kit for their mobile platform. Not a lot of changes come with version 7.1.1 of the SDK, but one of them is very important- the software now supports emulation of devices with 256MB of RAM. Some of the lesser changes include the added support for Windows 8, a fix for a known problem with Visual Studio, fixes for a number of problems with the Advertising SDK, added support for a few more languages and the IntelliSense, which lets you switch between different configurations for the RAM memory.
