Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich already ported to the Kindle Fire

A team of developers have posted their latest achievement on XDA-Developers in order to keep the ever-experimenting tech geeks happy. Yes, we’re talking about an Android Ice Cream Sandwich port for the Kindle Fire tablet.

Of course, it’s nowhere near official and it’s an early alpha version, but it’s still quite impressive. There are a lot of things that aren’t working at the moment, such as the WiFi, volume, accelerometer and light sensors, so we can’t recommend you try it out, but we expect a (somewhat) stable version soon.
