Tiger Lab – the first Nintendo DS emulator for Android

January 31st, 2011 Posted in News

Tiger Lab app is available on the Android Market for some time, first as a demo only and only for a limited period of time, it is just that – a Nintendo DS emulator for Android. One thing is immediately clear – as it is now, Tiger Lab is absolutely useless and only serves as a technical demo of the feasibility of the conversion, as well as to showcase the work of the coders who did it, King Tiger, already known to have successfully converted a host of emulators for Google’s mobile OS.

Nothing more than a hope, for now, but, when more powerful phones become available , and King Tiger has finished lavoare improved emulation of the CPU, GPU and FPU, also implementing dynamic recompilation techniques – the day that the Nintendo DS games will be usable on a mobile phone may not be so far away from now.
