Windows Phone 7 leaked ROM from HTC Mondrian – HOT!
Great news, it’s only May and we have a leaked Windows Phone 7 ROM from real device – HTC Mondrian!

This is what the developers need to make a custom ROMS based on this on – the D000FF format appears to be a new “store” type of .bin, will need to figure out the format for it to pull out imgfs (because just cutting in a hex editor gives the some invalid data, also, IMGFS is compressed with XPH (rather than XPR or LZX as we’re used to).
Great news for all Windows Mobile freaks, hope so ROM gurus will make a working ROM for some devices soon, I can’t wait to see it on my HD2.
This is some hot news for sure, but all ROM developers need some time to hack the new IMGFS compression and get the files, just wait a little.

Again something interesting – if you look into the emulator you will notice that, Windows Phone 7 is referred as Windows Mobile 7 by Microsoft for internal use. Take a look at the image here – http://www.machackpc.com/featured/wi…idered-as-rc1/
Bump again, NBHImageTool now support this new WP7 NBH format, dump and build is covered, it should cover future WP7 NBH too, assuming they follow this same format.
