RIM beginning to categorize the apps in BlackBerry App World
|
Just a few days ago, BlackBerry began using multiple (four to be exact) categories to separate the applications in their app store – BlackBerry App World, according to the age restrictions of applications. So far the categories are only used in the company’s servers, but they’re expected to reach end-users in a about a month or even less.
The categories are titled G (General), A (Adult), T (Teens) and M (Mature). Most of the applications are going to be rated G. The update for phones is expected to begin on 15.12, though it hasn’t been announced when BlackBerry PlayBook users are going to receive it. B. A.
