Nokia plans on selling a lot of Windows Phone devices

During the Technology, Media and Telecoms на Morgan Stanley conference, Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop said Nokia’s competition are other ecosystems. The former Microsoft employee also announced the first two Windows Phone devices from Nokia are priced to sell in large numbers. Those big numbers are what the Finns are counting on to distinguish themselves from the other Windows Phone manufacturers.

Stephen has also said there are going to be both budget and expensive WP smartphones from Nokia, which means they are going to compete in a lot of market niches. According to Elop, high Windows Phone device sales will lead to higher sales for all Nokia devices – for example, their high dual-sim phone sales have increased the sales of the Symbian smartphones.
