Mozilla will offer a better mobile browser in 2012
|
Even though there are already a lot of mobile browsers to chose from, Mozilla Foundation think they can do better than the competition. The company is currently looking for people for their tech team, because they’re preparing to release a new, different and better mobile browser next year.
So far Firefox for Android has been downloaded 5.5 million times from the market, which sound like a lot, but when you compare it to the hundreds of millions of Android users, it really isn’t all that impressive. Mozilla Foundation is also going to start releasing updates for their mobile browser more often and may even sign a contract with some of the major phone manufacturers to have Firefox pre-installed on their smartphones. The team working on just the mobile version of the browser currently consists of more than 250 employees. B. A.
