Motorola XT531 – another budget phone with Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Motorola is trying to provide consumers with a limited budget available options for the use of smartphone and the latest proof of this is the XT531 model. The device features a 3.5 inch capacitive screen with HVGA resolution, relies on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Moto Switch Interface and offers two cameras – a major 5MP with autofocus + flash and a front with VGA resolution. The sales of Motorola XT531 starts this month in China, but the company promises that in the autumn will reach selected countries in Europe and South America respectively, the phone will be sold under the name FIRE XT and SPICE XT. Also, later will be available another version of the phone with 2 SIM cards.

Other features of the smartphone are also relevant. It’s powered by processor clocked at 800 MHz and has a battery with capacity of 1540mAh, which goes for 8 hours of talk time or 28 days in standby mode. Motorola XT531 works in dual and quad-EDGE HSDPA networks and has 512MB ROM and 512MB RAM memory, a microSD slot (can add up to 32GB cards), FM radio with RDS, Wi-Fi b / g / n capabilities, and various sensors – compass, accelerometer, GPS and proximity sensors + ambient light. The dimensions of the handset are 114 x 62 x 11,95 mm with weight 114 grams.
