|
It’s already officially confirmed, that the Samsung event on 03.05 is going to be when the next-generation of the Galaxy is going to be revealed. With over 20 million sales, the SII is going to be hard to top, but Samsung hasn’t disappointed so far and despite the recent rumors, that the device is just going to be an upgrade of the previous Galaxy S, Samsung have the potential and capabilities to create something very impressive. The latest rumors state, that it’s going to be powered by a quad-core Exynos 4412 chip with a frequency of 1.5 gHz and will feature two cameras (3MP front and 8MP/12MP back) and a a Super AMOLED Plus HD screen with a diagonal of 4.5″ – 4.8″ inches.
According to another rumor, Samsung Galaxy S III is going to have a body made out of a whole new material with a ceramic cover – finally something, which is going to feel a bit more prestigious than the plastic Samsung used up until now. The new material should be about as light as the plastic, but it will also be a lot tougher and to top it all of should add a nice grip. Sadly, there haven’t been any pictures revealing the final design of the device – Samsung are really working hard to keep any information about their device from leaking online. B. A.
