Details on the HTC Endeavour C2 – the possible successor of the One X
|
Information about HTC’s new line of smartphones is already appearing online, which could be takes as a hint, that they’re going to be revealed quite soon. According to the most recent rumors, which was initially released by a Taiwanese source, the company is currently working on a device with the code name HTC Endeavour C2, which might actually be the successor of their current flagship – the One X (aka HTC Endeavour). The information, which has been revealed so far states, that the device is going to feature a quad-core processor, which is going to run at 1,7 gHz and an improved battery.
Some other (minor) details point out, that it’s going to come in more colors and will be sold with UrBeats headsets – despite the company’s plan to stop including such headsets in the package with their phones in order to keep their price lower. Among the other distinguishing features are the Clear Voice technology and HTC Watch 2 – a service, which gives the user access to all kinds of video content.
The design of the smartphone is expected to be very similar to the One X’s, which is more of a good thing – after all the HTC Endeavour is a very good-looking piece of technology. Its successor is expected to be revealed in September – perhaps the Taiwanese company is going to try and debut their top-end smartphone before the iPhone 5, with a market release scheduled around the first of October.
