As you might know, the official YouTube app for Windows Phone is nothing more than just a link to the mobile version of YouTube and not an actual application. Finally, Microsoft has now updated the app, and yes – this time it’s a real application with a brand new user interface. You can access all your videos, playlists, subscriptions, share videos and also pin them as a Live Tiles on your phone’s Home Screen.

Sadly, the new version of the official YouTube app is currently available only for Windows Phone 8, but we are expecting to be released soon and for the first generation of devices running Windows Phone 7.
