LG Optimus Sol brings Ultra AMOLED Screen

The newest addition to the Optimus line of smartphones is the device named – Optimus Sol (LG E730). The phone works with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, is 9.8 mm thick and has 3.8 inch Ultra AMOLED display with WVGA resolution, which has high brightness and high impact to the conventional AMOLED panels and remains visible even in direct sunlight. The smartphone is powered by processor running at 1GHz, there is also a 5MP camera + some new technologies such as DLNA and Wi-Fi Direct.  Optimus Sol is equipped with a new system for managing energy consumption in standby mode, which promises to increase battery life by 20 – 30%. LG Optimus Sol will be on the market in Europe in mid-September and will be available in three colors – white, black and titanium.
