Fusion Garage is a company that was known some times ago with the JooJoo tablet. The company is attracting some new investments and continue to work. The result of this work was presented earlier this week, it was designed to attract consumers’ attention to new and unusual tablet from the company named “TabCo”. Later, it became clear that it stands behind the Fusion Garage.

The new tablet is called Grid 10 and relies on the Grid OS – operating system based on the core of Android. The device was presented as a tablet with the highest resolution on the market since its 10″ screen with 1366 x 768 pixels. It uses NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor @ 1.2GHz , 1.3MP front camera, 16GB internal memory, Bluetooth 2.1 and microSD card slot. It’s very interesting that each of the JooJoo tablet owners will receive Grid 10 for free!

Although Grid OS is based on Android, the platform still is not “a real” Android, so users of the new platform cannot use all apps that’s are on the Market. The good news is that Fusion Garage has provided a virtual machine, with which users can use all software for Android, but will not have direct access to the Android Market. Instead, Grid OS will have its own application store – Grid Shop.
