Firefox OS is on its way to the big smartphones market, but the main problem with the Mozilla’s operating system was the lack of devices with good hardware. It seems that this is going to be changed, LG announced it’s first Firefox OS smartphone – LG Fireweb and it has some up-to date specs (compared to the known devices).
LG Fireweb features a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 480×320 pixels, 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 4GB of RAM and 5MP camera with LED flash and autofocus. Some of the preloaded apps are Cut The Rope game and the navigation app Here, of course there’s a full access to the Firefox Market.
LG Fireweb will be sold in Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay at a price of $207 (US dollars).
