- iPhone 5
According to recent information, posted by the Korean press, the next-generation iPhone (iPhone 5) is going to appear this summer and will have a 4.6″ display with a very high pixel density – in other words, a “retina display”. The American company has already began ordering panels from their suppliers, at least according to Maeil Business Newspaper, which rely on anonymous sources from the mobile industry. If this information turns out to be true, this may be the single most significant change in the iPhone 5, which has always had a 3.5″ display in all of its former generations, ever since the device was first introduced in 2007. An interesting coincidence is the fact, that the rumors about the Samsung Galaxy SIII say, that the Korean flagship device is also going to have a 4.6″ Full HD resolution display. B. A.
