HTC phones will no longer go with Beats headphones
|
Ever since HTC acquired Beats Audio last Summer, the company has always tried to use the brand as a selling point for their own devices. And even though the Beats Audio technology could initially only be found in the more expensive products, such as HTC Sensation XL, HTC Sensation XE and HTC Rezound, which also came along with a pair of Beats headphones, this year HTC decided to include the technology into all of their products.
At the same time, though, they’re going to stop pairing their devices with Beats headphones. This decision was taken, because, according to the statistics, the additional (rather expensive accessory) didn’t really seems to have increased sales as much as expected. According to the company if you really want Beats headphones, you’re going to buy a pair anyway and no one would buy a phone just because it comes with a nice pair of headphones. B. A.
