Flipboard already available for all Android devices
|
While a lot of people are currently anticipating the moment when Samsung Galaxy S III hits the stores, partly because of the exclusive version of Flipboard available for it, the folks over at xda-developers haven’t been wasting their time. Members of the forum have already managed to download the source code of the application and have even published the package, with which it can be installed on any Android device.
The information, which has been released along with the installation files claims, that the app works great even on older devices, such as the Galaxy S. Some users have reported they have problems with the widget, but than again others have said it works just fine. As you have probably guessed, in order to install this version of the application, you’ll have to allow the installation of unofficial software on your Android device, but that’s easily done in the Application section of the Settings menu.
