ARM demonstrating their Mali-T604 GPU along with an Exynos 5

Aside from revealing the next generation of their GPUs recently, ARM has also managed to demonstrate the Mali-T604 during the recent SIGGRAPH conference. According to the those present at the event, the quad-core graphics processor showed impressive productivity combined with the dual-core Cortex-A15 processor, though as it turned out a bit later, the chip, which was used in the demo device was actually an Exynos 5 Dual – the system-on-chip solution, which Samsung are going to feature in their high-end devices in the recent future.
Just to put this in perspective, the Samsung Galaxy S3 – the most powerful smartphone currently on the market (at least graphics-wise) is using the older Exynos 4 Quad with a Mali-400 GPU. According to ARM themselves, the T604 might appear on the market in Q3 of this year in as many as 8 companies’ products, so if you want to see what you can expect from mobile gadget in terms of graphics power for the next few months, you can check out the video below.
