Qualcomm announces six new processors from the Snapdragon 200 series. The new chips uses a 28nm technology and are especially designed for the mid-range line of devices, supporting 8MP main camera and 5MP on the front (for video calls).

Another interesting fact is that the new processors comes with a built-in Adreno 302 video accelerator and supports dual and tri-sim solutions (Dual SIM – Dual Standby, Dual SIM – Dual Active and Tri SIM – Tri Standby). There will be a version with two and four cores and the latest Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0 technology for a 40% faster battery charge.

According to the latest rumors, the new chips will be used for the first dual-sim Windows Phone 8 devices, this is very important for Nokia as the main Microsoft partner.
