Minecraft for Android coming this Fall – going to cost you $7

The indie game Minecraft has quickly managed to become this years hit and for a while now a lot of people have been waiting for its mobile version. Recently, we understood it was going to come exclusively for the Xperia Play first, but it’s still not clear when other users will get it. Thanks to an interview with the games lead developer – Markus Persson, now we know. According to him, the Android version will be called Minecraft – Pocket edition and it will be released for most Android devices soon after it comes for the Xperia Play. It seems that the Sony Ericsson version is written in such a way, it’s very easy to be ported to other devices. The game will be released this Fall at the price of $7 and in case you’re interested, the final computer version is expected this November.
