Microsoft has promised a version of the Surface tablet with Intel processor and Windows 8 Pro to be available on the market three months after the official premiere of the version with ARM processor and this seems to be close now.

The device will be priced at $899 and $999 dollars respectively for the two versions: with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage memory. In both sets of Surface tablets will enter a special pen, and in addition to these can be added a pouch with integrated keyboard – Touch Cover or Type Cover.
The Surface tablet with Windows 8 Pro uses the same design as the Surface with Windows RT and has a 2×2 MIMO antennas for better connection quality and an integrated stand. Among the differences are the used processor – Intel Core i5, 10.6″ Clear Type screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, USB 3.0 port and Mini Display Port to connect an external monitor with a resolutions up to 2560×1440 pixels.
The most important difference is that the new Surface tablet is compatible with all Windows 7 applications and its not limited only to the software in Windows Store.
