Microsoft developing their own social network

At the moment all of the digital giants are concentrating on two things – mobile operating systems and social networks. We know Android is the leader in mobile platforms and it’s going to stay this way for the next few years, but with social networks things are quite different – Facebook is the leader, but it’s losing more and more people every day. Meanwhile, Google just released their own network a couple of weeks ago and they already have millions of users, even though the only way to register is with an invitation. And Microsoft have just revealed (by mistake) that they’re working on their own social network called Tulalip (?!). It’s homepage was published online at socl.com, but was then quickly removed. At the moment the website only contains a text saying it’s “an internal design project from a team in Microsoft Research which was mistakenly published to the web. ” and wasn’t meant to be published.
