HTC to optimize their portfolio next year

A trusted source has recently shared information about HTC’s plans for the future, which seem quite significant. According to him, the company is going to change its strategy completely by focusing on the production of less phones, but with a better quality. Still HTC isn’t going to give us official information on the subject even in Q1 in 2012. Overall the company is expected to release fewer phones next year.

This source also claims HTC’s top device for the first half of 2012 is going to be called the HTC Elite and, just like the HTC Ville, it’s going to run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and feature Beats Audio. It’s scheduled to be released this April, so we should see it at the Mobile Congress in February. B. A.
