Chicken Zooma for Windows Phone – A Must Have Game!
What we have here is a funny and quirky designed cartoon game. This is one of the most exciting action adventure games released recently for Windows Phone.
The game combines the classic zuma style gameplay with some unique new features that make shooting those colorful eggs a really entertaining experience. The idea itself is very creative and funny. It is quite different than the boring patterned and pale marbles. Colors are really piebald and the cartoon style is fun for people of all ages. The game also implements in a major way a story about a typical rural farm with a barn, a garage and lots of animals. Motion goofy cartoons and sounds of pigs, sheep and horses round out the atmosphere of a classic steading.
Gameplay is really smooth. Eggs stick together in the proper way, I think, which makes choosing the best combination of colors carefree and non binding. Multi-tapping feature is great. It allows you to navigate the egg in more than one direction and make the perfect combo. I mean this is really awesome, especially when the string of eggs is close to the hole and you need to make combos really faster.
The first and sometimes the second difficulties are for fun and are ideal for a ride in the bus, metro, lunch break (even at school or work if nobody’s watching you and you turn off the sound of course…), but the third (rabbit) speed is indeed a very tough test for the real gamer. Time flies quickly while trying to pass a hard level. The 18 levels include 3 different scenes and the best part is that the creators from JL Soft promise more episodes with plenty of different levels and scenery. A new Forest episode is stated as “coming soon”. One of the things that they should think about is a variety of chickens to choose from and of course adding different bonuses as time stop, bombs, multi colored eggs and so on.
In conclusion it can be said that the creators of Chicken Zooma have added a breath of fresh air to the old classic. Good job guys!
