Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ Announced on CES 2014 – Features an Octa-core Processor
|Alcatel announced its latest high-end smartphone on CES 2014 – here’s the new One Touch Idol X+ (also known in China as TCL Idol X+).
The most interesting feature is the Mediatek MT6592 octa-core processor (8 cores) running at 2GHz, there’s a 5-inch Full HD screen, 2GB RAM, 16GB of built-in storage memory, 13.1MP camera with the ability to shoot 40MP panoramic images and supports a software image stabilization while recording video. The battery is with a capacity of 2500mAh and there’s a built-in ESS audio amplifier (sounds good :D).
Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ is extremely thin phone for it’s hardware specs – only 7.9mm, which makes it thinner compared to the HTC One and Nokia Lumia 925 (just for example). It’s running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and offers a Dual SIM support, the official market launch is scheduled for the mid February and it will be first available in Russia at a price of around $300 dollars.
