A thinner Optimus 3D in 2012?

LG-Optimus-3D

Samsung are currently making some of the biggest, yet slimmest phones ever (such as the Galaxy SII at 8.5 mm) and LG want to do the same thing. Now everybody knows the Optimus 3D is quite a fat phone – almost 12 mm thick to be exact,so they’re going to start by making it thinner. In a recent interview Dr. Henry Noh (LG developer)  hinted that LG might release a seriously streamlined version of their Optimus 3D next year. According to him, because of it’s thickness, the device really isn’t the “sexiest phone on the street”. According to him “These days, all the phones look the same. They have a huge screen – 4.3-inches is normal these days – and next year they’re moving even larger. And they have a fixed number of touch buttons. They’re the same thickness. They have the same camera. And even the same OS. It’s so boring.” Actually we do agree with him,but will a slim device win the hearts of consumer is yet to be found out. B.A.
